Ribbon Pakoda – Traditional South Indian Savory Snack
Ribbon Pakoda, also known as Nada Thenkuzhal or Oatu Pakoda, is a popular South Indian snack known for its distinctive flat, ribbon-like shape and crisp, savory flavor. It is traditionally prepared during festivals like Diwali and enjoyed as a delicious accompaniment to tea or as part of a festive snack platter.
Made from a balanced blend of gram flour (besan) and rice flour, the dough is seasoned with red chili powder, cumin, asafoetida, and butter to deliver a perfect combination of crunch and flavor. The dough is then pressed through a ribbon mold and deep-fried to a golden crisp.
Our Ribbon Pakoda is handcrafted in small batches using natural ingredients with no palm oil, artificial colors, or preservatives, ensuring an authentic and clean snacking experience.
